--------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1989 - releaselist --------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the unofficial c64 releaselist. Size is calculated as the number of blocks the main game occupies; the size of external files such as documentation, loading pictures and other paraphernelia are not included. The releaselist only takes into consideration original cracks; imports and/ or fixes are not counted for anything here. Groups active this year: EUROPE Action (germany), Alpha Flight (AFL, germany), Array (germany), Byterapers (finland), Censor Design (sweden), Contex (CTX, finland, denmark), Cosmos (austria), Doughtnut Cracking Service (DCS, england), Dytec (DTC, germany), Fairlight (FLT, sweden), Future (FTR, norway), Genesis Project (GP, switzerland), Hotline (HTL, england, holland), Ikari (denmark, england), Ikari+Talent (I+T, denmark, england), Lazer (austria), Nato (denmark), Oneway (1WAY, sweden), Online, Paninaro (PAN), Poltergeist (PGT), Relax (RLX, germany), Sharks (germany), Talent (TAL, england), Triangle 3532 (3532, denmark), Unicess (denmark), X-Ray (germany). USA A Touch of Class (ATC, import/fix/crack), Exodus (XDS, import), Fucked Beyond Repair (FBR, import), Rampar (import). --[ january ]-------------------------------------------------------------- date game / group cracker(s) files/size ---- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 01 R-Type +2 pic/Oneway Zizyphus 27/508 05 4 Soccer Simulators/Ikari Tri-Dos 5/529 --[ february ]------------------------------------------------------------- date game / group cracker(s) files/size ---- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- --[ march ]---------------------------------------------------------------- date game / group cracker(s) files/size ---- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 31 Renegade III +4 pic/Triangle 3532 Scratch 5/280 Run the Gauntlet/Array n/a 5/438 --[ april ]---------------------------------------------------------------- date game / group cracker(s) files/size ---- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 07 Last Duel +3/Future Sauron 7/272 --[ may ]------------------------------------------------------------------ date game / group cracker(s) files/size ---- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 05 Hard'n'Heavy 100% +7 pic/Triangle 3532 Scratch 1/157 18 Speedball 100%/Cosmos Antitrack 1/154 20 3D Pool/Hotline XXX and Bod 1/116 Speedball 100%/Triangle 3532 Scratch 1/142 may notes: Triangle's "Speedball" was released before Cosmos', and did NOT work correctly. Additionally, a version was released by Agile even earlier, that did not work. In fact, this mostly came back to bugs in the game. The Cosmos version is presumably the best one available. --[ june ]----------------------------------------------------------------- date game / group cracker(s) files/size ---- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 01 Silkworm +/Fairlight n/a 1/126 03 Baal +6/Ikari Fletch 5/438 Jaws +2/DCS Mik 1/174 --[ july ]----------------------------------------------------------------- date game / group cracker(s) files/size ---- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 10 Kayden Garth pic/Triangle 3532 Scratch 98/451 13 Licence to Kill +5/Paninaro Tri-Dos, Yattering 1/165 18 Journey t.t.c.o.t.e./Triangle 3532 Scratch 99/1677 Licence to Kill +7/Dytec SSC 1/194 --[ august ]--------------------------------------------------------------- date game / group cracker(s) files/size ---- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 20 APB +3/Paninaro Yattering, Tri-Dos 3/193 30 Crossfire ++/DCS Mik 1/??? end APB ++ pic/Poltergeist Bugboy 3/223 APB pic/Alpha Flight n/a 3/210 APB +3/Contex Rockstar 1/179 APB +3 pic/Genesis Projetc The Goblin 3/218 APB +3 pic/Sharks Zap, Darkforce 4/191 APB +3 pic/Unicess Mason 3/211 august notes: All other APB releases are placed here based on the dates of the Paninaro and Poltergeist releases. And yes, I+T did release two versions - one by the English division and one by the Danes :) Royalty released a version the 1st of january next year. When we get a couple of dated versions of the same game, we can usually give it more of a target date. Action's "Gemini Wing" announces the group is six months old in two weeks, plus the kicking of Cyco and the joining of DP/ex Aidon. I have external information that Cyco's kicking happened around september. Talent's "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" was Likely released late in the year, november or december. Triangle's "Run the Gauntlet" was likely released around march, same as Array's version. |
